Thinking With God – Day 3

‘And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?’ Matthew 6:30 (NLT)

‘Jesus responded, “Why are you afraid? You have so little faith!” Then he got up and rebuked the wind and waves, and suddenly there was a great calm.’ Matthew 8:26 (NLT)

‘Jesus immediately reached out and grabbed him. “You have so little faith,” Jesus said. “Why did you doubt me?”’ Matthew 14:31 (NLT)

‘Jesus knew what they were saying, so he said, “You have so little faith! Why are you arguing with each other about having no bread? ‘ Matthew 16:8 (NLT)

Jesus had a little phrase for people who were trying to think with God but just didn’t get it. See if you can spot the phrase in these four stories in Matthew. What were the differences between how God was thinking and how people were thinking? Do you get both what people were thinking and what God was thinking? That is part of our thinking with God about life.
