‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the Lord and turn away from evil. Then you will have healing for your body and strength for your bones.’ Proverbs 3:5-8(NLT)
‘The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. May the grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.’ Romans 16:20(NLT)
As we end our study on fear and anxiety, we may not have all the answers as to why we face times of fear or why we experience anxiety. We do know we serve a God who loves us more than anything. He had a plan for our lives before we were born.
Our responsibility is to trust in Him, even when we may not understand our circumstances. We are to acknowledge Him as our Almighty Lord who is powerful over all. When we trust in Him, our faith renews us. It gives us hope and a new perspective.
How have you experienced a new perspective in the last six weeks? What aspect of your relationship with the Lord has grown? As you face difficult times ahead, trust in God’s character rather than your understanding as you continue to walk in faith.
Father God, thank You for Your wisdom and grace. Thank You for how You guide my steps, even in difficult times. Thank You for the joy that only You can give. Help me continue to walk in faith as I grow in my trust in You. Thank You for Your Son, in whom I find my peace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
