‘The Lord hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.’ Psalms 34:17-18 (NLT)
God won’t leave you. He hears the cries of his people and comes to their aid. It’s not always the kind of help we want nor expect – which is perhaps a reason that we so often don’t notice God in our darkest moments – but he always comforts, accompanies and saves us.
