Imagine this scenario: someone enters the room you’re in, and in a fraction of a second, the atmosphere changes…all of a sudden, the ambiance is lighter, more peaceful and relaxed. Has this ever happened to you?
My friend, this someone is you! “‘Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.’” (Matthew 5:9 NKJV)
As a child of God, you are among those who give joy and spread peace around them. Because you’re a carrier of the Prince of Peace, His nature is demonstrated through you – and how needed this is right now in our communities stricken by the Coronavirus!
Today, wherever you may be or go, the King of Kings is with you.
My friend, know that with a word, a thoughtful gesture, or simply a smile, you can bless someone with God’s peace!
Here’s an idea for today…determine to reveal His love and peace through a kind word or prayer, an act of service, a choice to forgive, or a listening ear. Let yourself be inspired by the Holy Spirit. He always has amazing ideas!
You have the power to bring peace and have a positive impact all around you. And as you do, people will ask you, what is this peace that you have? What’s your secret? You can then say…
- It’s the certainty that all things work together for your good (see Romans 8:28).
- It’s the assurance that God is with you (see Deuteronomy 20:4).
- It’s the Word of God that guides and empowers you (see Psalm 119:105).
- It’s the presence of the Holy Spirit, with you and in you (see John 14:17)!
Yes, you are equipped with these truths to glorify the name of the Most High God in all circumstances!
Today, be an ambassador of Jesus’ peace!
