‘But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.’ Isaiah 40:31 https://my.bible.com/bible/116/ISA.40.31
‘But when I am afraid, I will put my trust in you. I praise God for what he has promised. I trust in God, so why should I be afraid? What can mere mortals do to me?’ Psalms 56:3-4(NLT)
‘“I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid. ‘ John 14:27(NLT)
Being a person of faith doesn’t mean that you’ll never have fear. However, the more you allow the God of the universe to be in charge of your life and recognize your need for complete dependence on Him, the less fearful you’ll become. With God, you’ll never walk in darkness and never walk alone. With God, you will soar on wings like eagles. You will run and not grow weary. You will walk and not be faint.
When you put your hope and trust in God, you can overcome any obstacle in your path or situation in your life. And that includes fear. When the Lord gives you a promise in His word, believe it, and your strength will be renewed. Remain courageous as you wait upon Him to deliver you from everything that is making you fearful.
May the Lord lift you up on eagles’ wings and bring you to a place of renewed strength. May you rest in His mighty arms and remain in His word, so that you will have His peace, which surpasses all understanding, rather than fear.
