Love God Greatly: Fear & Anxiety – Day 19

‘The Lord is my light and my salvation— so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble? When evil people come to devour me, when my enemies and foes attack me, they will stumble and fall. Though a mighty army surrounds me, my heart will not be afraid. Even if I am attacked, I will remain confident.’ Psalms 27:1-3(NLT)

In times of fear, the last thing we often feel is strong. Fear can cripple us and make us question how we were ever able to function.

Our God never feels this way. Even in the darkest of circumstances, our God is strong. He is our deliverer. He is our protector. He will never tire or grow weary. We have nothing to fear when we are resting in the power and ability of our Mighty God.

When we rely on Him, He carries us. He longs for us to lay our burdens at His feet, trusting Him to be our power and strength. He will always come through for us, even if it’s not in the way we expected. He is faithful and He is powerful. We have nothing to fear because the Lord protects our lives.

Father God, thank You that You give me the strength to carry-on even when have no strength left. Thank You for letting me know that I always have access to You. Forgive me for times I doubt I can come to You with my problems. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
